Ashridge boundary trail race – route overview
The run includes outstanding features of the estate, including ivinghoe beacon, ancient woodlands and dramatic scenery.
The route is clearly marked with boundary trail circular, green signs (shown below). These each bear an arrow showing the direction in which to go. There will also be temporary race direction markers and red/white hazard tape marking the route.
The route is primarily along unmade paths and woods. It is well signed and marshalled on race day. We haven’t lost any runners yet !
A detailed map of the route can be obtained by clicking here and a written description of the route can be found here. This year the route will be run in a clockwise direction.

Marshalls will be available at main road crossing points and at obvious turn points, however, there will be many sections of the route which will not be marshalled.
